Rayen citadel or Arg-e-Rayen is a smaller-size alternative for Arg-e-Bam.

If you do not have time to visit Bam and Arg-e-Bam, you have the alternative at hand. Rayen citadel or Arg-e-Rayen can respond the need of visiting a mud old structure though in smaller size. Just a hundred kilometers away from Kerman you will reach Rayen.

You can not believe your eyes when you approach the destination. The fourth highest mountain summit in Iran as tall as more than 4500 miters usually covered with snow catches your eyes. Hezar peak is the tall mountain ahead of you where you are going to visit an old MUD STRUCURE called Arg-e-Rayen. The pistachio gardens on both sides of the road offer the visitors a special landscape joy while getting closer to end the road trip.
