Gandom Beryan is an area in Lut desert which is the remenant of a volcanic activity of the past. As the site is entirely covered with black basaltic rocks, it alos also famous black desert. It shows very well how volcanic activities have taken place at the see bed and it can be the right place for geologists and scholars to visit. The local name Gandomberyan very well signifies the extreme heat of the place. NASA LanSat7 has already recorded Lut Desert as the hottest spot on the earth, 70.70DC.

Gandom Beryan/Gandomberyan tour starts from Kerman, passes through beautiful mountains as well as Sirch village. After 2 hours of driving, the off road trip starts to the north west of the desert off kaluts. On the way there are few stops to visit some desert special landforms. Finally, the visitors start trekking, pass through the amazing salty river and climb up the lava black field covered with basalt rocks. After trekking and visiting different parts of the vast area, the tour gets back to the base where the vehicles wait.
The tour is condition-based. It depends on the time of the year. Therefore, time plan is different in different seasons.
